Illustrative prints inspired by black culture and the 70s era.
My focus for this project was to combine my personal experience with my illustrative practice and what it means to be both black and an illustrator in today's society. I wanted my prints to visually communicate my cultural background combined with my experiences of being westernised. The graphic style and bold cut out shapes were inspired by my love of the seventies and how that influences me as an image maker.
